About BrainLife


Mission Statement

The purpose of BrainLife is to collect and offer to brain tumor patients, caregivers and medical/health professionals,  references to the latest published medical resources in the field of brain (and other CNS) tumor research and treatment.
The places of origin are: peer-reviewed journals and medical databases. Some meeting proceedings are included too.

The website also maintains a structured database of peer-reviewed medical sources on brain (and other CNS) tumors, including experimental treatments and alternative therapies.
The sources (abstracts, references and full-text articles) are republished with their original contents.

Medical/health information or advice given by medical/health professionals is supported by training/credentials listed in each source.
