In our interrogation of the SEER database, we found that OS in pODG is significantly better than that of adult oligodendroglioma, with a 5-year OS of 85%. These results are roughly in agreement with results of previous studies. Rodriguez et al. [21] report a 5-year OS of 80%, Creach et al. [22] report 94%, Peters et al. [25] report 84% , and Razack et al. [29] report 65%. This compares with a lower 5-year OS in adult oligodendroglioma of 67% identified in our study.
