The purpose of the
web site BrainLife
is to collect and offer to brain tumor patients, caregivers and medical/health
professionals, references to the latest published medical sources in
the field of brain (and other CNS) tumor research and treatment.
The
places of origin are peer-reviewed journals and medical databases. Some
meeting proceedings are included too. The sources (abstracts, references
and full-text articles) are republished with their original contents.
The web site maintains a structured Database
of the medical sources, that is continuously updated.
For each new entry, if it has date of first publication in the last three months is collected in issues
of
Current Neuro-Oncology
or of Glioblastoma Reports, otherwise
in issues of Archives of
Neuro-Oncology.
